As part of our class we listened to songs and wrote. The first one was Somewhere Over The Rainbow sang by Israel “IZ” Kamakawiwo’ole. The second one was Sultans Of Swings by Dire Straits.

The first time I heard this song was when I was a baby. My mum who had a lovely voice sang it to me and my two sisters.
And it really is a wonderful world seeing the rainbow and people smiling, especially at Christmas awaiting the arrival of Santa and prezzies. By Burky

Dire Straits reminds me of my almost youthfull days when life was for living to the full. We went dancing at weekends and working hard the rest of the week. One of the best bands of their day brought those memories back.

Lisa and Tony’s writings still to come.
